On 22 October Ambassador Halvorsen paid a courtesy visit to Minister of Justice Juozas Bernatonis. During the meeting the Bernatonis accounted for key projects related to modernization of the penitentiary system in Lithuania. The newly ratified prisoner transfer agreement and the EAA grants were also discussed.

Ambassador Halvorsen paid a courtesy visit to the Lithuanian Minister of Energy Rokas Masiulis on 20 October. They discussed the upcoming inauguration of the LNG terminal in Klaipeda, Norwegian participation in the project and further development of LNG market.

On 6 October, Ambassador Dag M. Halvorsen paid a courtesy visit to Minister of Finance Rimantas Šadžius. During the meeting, Halvorsen and Šadžius discussed implementation of the EEA Grants and Norway Grants in Lithuania, key issues on the Lithuanian and European economic and fiscal agenda, as well as bilateral and regional economic cooperation.
