One of the main goals of the film festival Scanorama is to give the audience new discoveries. That is why they always search for the very best of European cinema. This year Scanorama will screen a wide repertoire of Norwegian films, and give the audience a chance to experience the diversity of contemporary Norwegian cinema. Here you can find historic realism in Marius Holst’s “King of a Devils Island” which portrays a dark chapter of Norwegian history, drama in Maria Sodahl’s “Limbo,” and Norwegian folklore mixed with modern day action in the humorous and spectacular thriller, "The Troll Hunter.”
