22.02 “Nordic cooperation on foreign and security policy” - Lecture by former Norwegian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Thorvald Stoltenberg, at the University of Vilnius

Mr. Thorvald Stoltenberg is a former Norwegian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Defence, Ambassador to the UN, UN High Commissioner for Refugees, and Special Representative of the UN Secretary General for the former Yugoslavia. He is the author of “the Stoltenberg Report” on enhanced Nordic cooperation in the field of foreign and security policy. At the invitation of the Institute of International Relations and Political Science, Thorvald Stoltenberg will hold a lecture on the topic; Nordic cooperation on foreign and security policy, to be followed by questions and answers. It will take place at Institute of International Relations and Political Science, Room 402, Vokiečių str. 10, Vilnius at 14.00 on the 22nd of February 2011. Mr. Stoltenberg is also invited to meet the President of Lithuania together with the ambassador’s of the Nordic and Baltic countries. There will also be a separate meeting between Mr. Stoltenberg and representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania. In the evening the ambassador of Norway is hosting a dinner for Mr. Stoltenberg and high ranking Lithuanian officials.
