The NMH String Quartet has played together for three years. They are all graduating or recent graduates from the Norwegian Academy of Music. They play contemporary music from Nordic and Baltic Countries. At Festival Druskomanija 2011 the Quartet will play a new repertoire based on seven pieces from Lithuania and Norway, as well as other countries. The Festival Druskomanija is one of Lithuania’s oldest contemporary music festivals, and will take place in Vilnius and Druskininkai at the end of May and early June. The Embassy of Norway in Lithuania has contributed with funding for the concert with the NHM String Quartet.
The concert will take place at May 28, 12:00 in Hotel Regina Conference Hall (T. Kosčiuškos g. 3) in Druskininkai.
