31.03-05.04 International Youth Conferance “Bjørnson 2010” in Lillehammer, Norway

The first International Youth Conference “Bjørnson 2010” will be organized at the Nansen Academy in Lillehammer Norway. The conference is based upon the work and thoughts of the Norwegian writer Bjørnstjerne Bjørnson. He was a strong advocate of freedom from repression and worked with exchange between cultures and the promotion of peace. During the conference youth from many countries will meet and engage in dialogue about cultural differences, peace promotion and the protection of the environment. The Embassy of Norway in Lithuania has financially supported a delegation of Lithuanian youth to be a part of the conference. Participation in the conference is by invitation only.
