Invitation to “Norwegian days in Lithuania 24 – 26 November 2010” - focus on your business (To Norwegian companies/institutions and members of the NLCC)
The Royal Norwegian Embassy in Lithuania, in co-operation with the Norwegian Lithuanian Chamber of Commerce (NLCC) and Innovation Norway, invite you to participate in “Norwegian Days” which will be organised in Vilnius 24 – 26 November.
Wednesday the 24th of November will be dedicated to business events organised in accordance with your company’s specific wishes and needs.
We are inviting the main target group, Norwegian entities (e.g. companies, clusters, research and academic institutions, networks) and the members of the NLCC, to share your wishes and needs with us, and we will plan the events accordingly to the greatest extent possible.
We envisage a general part for all participants. This is likely to consist of welcoming addresses by high-level speakers, a short overview of business possibilities in Lithuania, experiences of Norwegian businesses in Lithuania, and a speaker on business cultures in Norway and Lithuania.
For the second part of the event we wish to offer a programme which is developed and adapted according to the expressed wishes. We envisage offering thematically organised seminars/work-shops/roundtable discussions and/or individual meetings with possible partner companies or public officials. Your suggestions are welcomed.
The “Norwegian Days” will have a Norwegian framework, including cultural performances and a business networking dinner serving the best Norwegian seafood products.
The organisers will cover the costs of the event itself (venue, speakers etc.), and participants are expected to cover their own travel and accommodation costs, and possibly a reasonable fee for food and beverage.
Please respond to emb.vilnius@mfa.no by 25 September stating your intention to participate, and your possible specific wishes for the business event. After carefully considering all feedback, we will send out a full programme for the events at a later stage. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me, my deputy Terje Aalia or the embassy’s intern Alice J. Vatnehol by the mentioned email address or by telephone +370 5 261 00 00.
